At the end of the term we ended up making a leyden jar out of a 5 gallon paint jar some wires and tin foil. The inside tinfoil collects a negative charge and went the ends of the wires touch a spark apears.
1. What did you set out to do originally?
Originally we were going to build a Fm transmitter/ Fox Hole Radio.
2. What did you do?
After spending weeks on building the radio and changing the parts we decidied to make a leyden jar.
3. What did you have to do differently than you thought?
i didnt think that we were gonig to have to start a completely new project the last week of the term. i also didnt think the radio wouldnt work and i was surprised that we couldnnt get it to work.
4. How would you approach this project differently, knowing what you do now?
i would make sure the project i was working on was capable of being accomplished.
